Hello!

I’m Ted Kessler, an up-and-coming UX/UI/Product Designer and 3D artist with programming experience and a background in healthcare technology from the Bay Area, CA. I just completed a UX/UI Design certificate program and am excited to get to work. I found this Associate Product Designer position with BambooHR and I’m very excited about it — Associate Product Designer is my desired position at this point on my path to becoming a Product Designer. I also appreciate what BambooHR is doing as I believe it’s incredibly valuable to make complex operations and workflows simpler so that everyone can focus on quality work.

Here is how I specifically align with your desired qualifications (taken from the job description):

  • Someone with at least a year of experience or mentoring outside of school work. (5.5 years of experience in medical technology, though not in a UX role)
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to understand and break down complex problems.
  • An individual who sweats every small detail of their work to ensure the highest level of quality.
  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates a solid understanding of web and/or mobile application interaction design principles, patterns and best practices.

Linked below are my most recent UX projects. All of them were based on prompts in my UX Academy bootcamp course. Food Art with Kids was a paid project with a real client.

I also have some smaller design exercises on my Dribbble page.

Thanks so much for your time! Please contact me via my contact form, LinkedIn, or by email with any questions.
